  My compaq laptop was running slowly and freezing up from time to time, especially when I tried running multiple programs at once. I told the guy at compumax the problem and he immediately had several suggestions for me. He ended up cleaning out my computer, clearing unnecessary files and programs, and installing 2GB of additional RAM for a good price. He was knowledgeable, fast, and my computer runs much faster now with no problems.

  I got locked out of my computer after a Windows 10 update. I called Max and brought my computer to him same day. He diagnosed that the hard drive had crashed. I told him that was that, and that I'd need to purchase a new computer and restore my files from my backup sources. Without me asking him to, and without telling me because he didn't want to give me a false sense of hope, he took the initiate to attempt to recover my data from the crashed drive and installed a new hard drive with all my programs and files exactly as they were before for a fraction of the cost of me replacing the whole computer. He charged me just over $200 total and saved me a thousand in having to buy a new computer and many hours of my time in porting data to a new computer, reinstalling programs, etc. I highly recommend Max at Compumax.
